Pivot on Nov 1 – Dina Del Bucchia, Spencer Gordon, Ted Nolan

A 1-2-3 punch of brilliant new books by good friends of Pivot!


Dina Del Bucchia is the author of three collections of poetry: Coping with Emotions and Otters (Talonbooks, 2013), Blind Items (Insomiac Press, 2014), and Rom Com(Talonbooks 2015), the latter written with her Can’t Lit podcast co-host Daniel Zomparelli. She is an editor of Poetry Is Dead magazine and the Artistic Director of the Real Vancouver Writers’ Series. Dina created and updates”Dress Like a Book” (on tumblr and Instagram) to unite two of her great loves: literature and fashion. Her first collection of fiction, Don’t Tell Me What to Do, is out now with Arsenal Pulp Press.

SPENCER GORDON is the author of the critically acclaimed short story collection Cosmo (Coach House Books, 2012) and the poetry collection Cruise Missile Liberals (Nightwood Editions, Fall 2017). He is a co-founder of The Puritan, the decade-old literary journal. His writing has appeared in The Globe and Mail, National Post, Toronto Star, EVENT, THIS Magazine, Poetry Is Dead, The Winnipeg Review, CNQ, Broken Pencil, Joyland and many other periodicals and anthologies. He lives and works in Toronto.
